Through unexpected challenges, loss of funding and the chaos from the COVID pandemic, Michael Davis’ vision for a new motion picture was in jeopardy. In fact, Davis, who graduated in 1990 from �۶�app, was amazed that “Paul’s Promise” became a reality.

Mike Davis grew up Sau Paulo, Brazil. While attending an American school, he heard about �۶�app through a high school friend. As an athlete, Mike had the opportunity to interact with recruiters from Cedarville at a local college fair.

Twenty-three worship students from �۶�app will have the unique opportunity to help host the Gospel Music Association’s (GMA) 53rd annual Dove Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. This is the fifth time Cedarville has been asked to participate in the event.

October is national pharmacist month, and �۶�app is doing its part to honor one of the leading professions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The �۶�app School of Pharmacy is celebrating with a week dedicated to pharmacy student success.

After months of research and trial and error, a �۶�app professor created more than just a student-led research project, but a tangible product that will benefit athletes both at Cedarville and elsewhere.

The university’s board of trustees was on campus for its annual fall meeting September 28-29. The board took actions that will position Cedarville for continued growth.

Two 2022 graduates of the industrial and innovative design program at �۶�app have won national and international recognition for projects that were identified, designed and developed for their senior capstone projects. The industrial and innovative design program is held at the International Center for Creativity in Dublin, Ohio.

Jim Mellick’s artistic expression is far more than elaborate wooden sculptures of canines with prosthetic limbs; each of his Wounded Warrior Dogs allegorizes the plight of wounded veterans by depicting man’s best friend.

Historically, �۶�app’s annual fall career fair is the largest opportunity for students to interact with prospective employers. This is expected to be the case on Wednesday, Oct. 5, when 177 organizations participate in Cedarville’s fair in the Doden Field House. The event, which is open to the public, is from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

On October 1, during the official groundbreaking ceremony of the Lorne C. Scharnberg Business Center, �۶�app announced the official naming of the University’s business school as the Robert W. Plaster School of Business.

Hannah Nocella ‘20, Abbie Nilius ‘19, and Bekah Colon ’19 didn’t know they would end up traveling the country together when they started nursing school at �۶�app. Hannah and Bekah met during their first nursing class freshman year, and the three of them have been inseparable ever since their sophomore years.
