
A First: ۶app Surpasses 5,000 Enrollment
For the first time in ۶app's 135-year history, more than 5,000 students are enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, and online programs. The 2022-23 enrollment of 5,082 is an increase of 367 students, or 7.8%, from last year's record 4,715 enrollment, and it represents the positive momentum that is taking place at ۶app.

Called to Care
As a 16-year-old, Jeff Bates worked in a small grocery store in Gladwin, Michigan, his hometown. This store had a small drug store called the Prescription Shop, and Jeff was inspired by its pharmacist’s service to the community. This pharmacist offered himself to the community, and that greatly inspired Jeff to pursue pharmacy in the same way.

More than 80 ۶app faculty and staff members were honored on Friday, Aug. 12, for their years of service to the university.

SOCHE Honors Cedarville’s Public Relations Director
The Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) has presented ۶app’s Mark D. Weinstein, executive director of public relations, with a Staff Excellence Award for September 2022.

White Coat Ceremony Welcomes First-Year Pharmacy Students
۶app’s School of Pharmacy will hold its 11th annual White Coat Ceremony, inducting first-year professional pharmacy students, on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m. in the Dixon Ministry Center Jeremiah Chapel.

Student Chapter Wins Pharmacy Awards
The ۶app School of Pharmacy’s student chapter of the National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA) won six awards at the organization’s annual conference on July 29-31 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Whether it was basketball, baseball, or golf, athletics were always and an important part of Chris Cross’ life. Originally from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Chris made sports a very central part of his life, starting in middle school and continuing all the way through college.

Senior professor of geology Dr. John Whitmore will join film director Thomas Purifoy for a sequel to the 2017 documentary “Is Genesis History?,” highlighting historical evidence for the biblical Flood.

Campus Tradition “Printy Wars” Celebrates Its 20th Year
The annual “Printy Wars” has been a long-standing tradition at ۶app. In fact, college students and faculty have participated in the residential unit-by-unit competition dating back to August 2002.

Equipping Thousands
Mark Klimek taught every nursing student at ۶app over his 38-year career before his retirement this summer. His NCLEX (National Council Licensure Examination) preparation courses have helped thousands of students at Cedarville, across the country, and around the world to pass the test to become registered nurses.

Singing Professor Reinforces “Most Engaged” Student Ranking
In 2020, The Wall Street Journal ranked ۶app the second-best school for student engagement, largely due to faculty members who engage their students in ways that help students learn.

۶app Presented with $8 Million Gift
۶app’s $125 million comprehensive campaign, One Thousand Days Transformed: The Campaign for Cedarville, continues to generate momentum. Recently, an anonymous donor gave an $8 million gift toward the campaign. This gift brings the campaign total to $114.5 million.
