New personal branding course at �۶�app helps students define values, communicate strengths and build professional visibility. Taught by business and communication faculty, the course prepares graduates to stand out in the job market.

�۶�app hosted the Global Game Jam Jan. 30–Feb. 1, giving students 48 hours to build games from the theme “mask.” The noncompetitive event united coders, artists and musicians, strengthening teamwork skills for game development.

Dr. Jared Pincin rose from modest beginnings to become a Cedarville economics professor. Shaped by faith and personal experience, he now mentors students on wise living and warns against the spiritual risks of sports betting.

For nearly 40 years, Adventures in Odyssey has shared faith-based stories with families worldwide. �۶�app alumnus Rudy Haerr supports the long-running radio drama through behind-the-scenes audio production at Focus on the Family.

Three student ventures took top honors at �۶�app’s Pitch competition Friday night after coaching and judging rounds. Winners included a middle school fraction-learning tool, affordable cybersecurity for churches and nonprofits, and a fast-fashion recycling concept.

�۶�app’s Board of Trustees approved strategic initiatives supporting long-term growth, including launching a seminary and expanding academic programs. Trustees also approved a new budget, faculty hires, promotions and measures to maintain affordability.

Lt. Col. Angelia Mickle, �۶�app nursing dean, received the Meritorious Service Medal for leading a GuardCare medical mission that delivered more than $600,000 in free community health care in Greene County, Ohio.

One year after the Potomac River crash, Grace Maxwell’s family, �۶�app, and others honor her life and legacy — a young woman of deep faith whose words and witness continue to inspire hope through grief.

�۶�app students launch CedarBits, a four-week cybersecurity camp that introduces middle schoolers to digital safety through hands-on projects and critical thinking. The program teaches password management, basic networking and career pathways in cyber operations.

�۶�app’s WAVE program helps first-year students succeed through a holistic two-week initiative. By blending academic preparation, spiritual growth and social support, WAVE increased student retention by more than 20 percent — from 71 to 94.5 percent in two years.

Worship leader Paul Baloche will headline �۶�app’s Worship 4:24 Conference, Jan. 29–31. He will debut a new song, “Spirit and Truth,” co-written with John Bolin and inspired by John 4:24.

�۶�app hosts a Nursing Preview Day offering prospective students hands-on simulations, labs and faculty interaction, highlighting early clinical experience, holistic faith-based education and preparation to address the global nursing shortage through applied learning initiatives.
