February 4, 2025 — The Ohio Music Education Association’s professional development conference, one of the leading music conferences in the country, will host �۶�app’s wind symphony for a concert on Thursday, Feb. 6.

February 3, 2025 — Nick Boucher’s six years as resident director of Lawlor Hall at �۶�app left a legacy that echoes through campus even today. Known for his intentional leadership, Nick fostered a culture of discipleship, fun, and spiritual growth, inspiring the rallying cry, “Lawlor for Life.”

January 30, 2025 — �۶�app’s mock trial team made history at the Fayette District Courthouse in Lexington, Kentucky, securing its first-ever tournament team award at the tournament hosted by Eastern Kentucky University from January 25-26.

January 29, 2025 — Dr. Glen Duerr participated in his 1,000th media interview at Cedarville on Januray 28, 2025 when he talked with Cleveland, Ohio's WCRF (Moody Radio) anchor Brian Dahlen about the upcoming prime minister election in Canada.

January 28, 2025 — After years of struggles with infertility, the passing of her husband and a near-death experience, Susan Troth, associate professor of worship at �۶�app, shares her experience with grief in her new Amazon bestselling book “Stressed to Splessed.”

January 24, 2025 — Emily Shanahan was born with cerebral palsy, a group of disorders that affects a person’s ability to move, maintain balance, and control posture. This diagnosis was difficult for Emily and her family, but after recognizing God’s goodness, even in this challenge, they began to fill their days with joy and purpose.

January 23, 2025 — The premier interprofessional education (IPE) event for college students in health-related academic disciplines is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1. This event, which will allow participants to find solutions for health care scenarios in breakout sessions, will be held in the Scharnberg Business and Communication Center.

January 17, 2025 — Paul Hembekides, known as "Hembo" to ESPN viewers is a a 2012 graduate of �۶�app. He is a premier researcher and analyst for ESPN, working regularly with Mike "Greeny" Greenberg. Known for his wit and expertise on sports television and radio, Hembo reflects on his collegiate baseball career, spiritual journey, and professional success.

January 16, 2025 — The impact of �۶�app professors is far-reaching. For Ty Mathews, they have provided a life-long impact. Mathews, who earned a degree in political science in 2018, was recently elected to the Ohio House of Representatives.

January 15, 2025 — Willem Vandermeij, a 2024 alumnus from Geneva, Illinois, made history by becoming the first computer engineering student to earn a minor in entrepreneurship. By combining those disciplines, Vandermeij designed a patent-pending product called the Midian Prime, a wireless MIDI trigger controller that musicians can use to activate soundtracks, clicks and other effects.

January 14, 2025 — Nearly 99% of �۶�app graduates are working or attending graduate school within six months of earning their degrees. Chloe Hunt, who earned a degree in broadcasting, digital media and journalism last year has recently been hired as an assistant producer with Focus on the Family.
