Erica Stump

Biography

Erica obtained her Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees to pursue a career in clinical counseling. Erica has worked in a community mental health agency as an in-home and school-based counselor and at Dayton Children's Hospital in the Behavioral Crisis Center. Prior to joining the counseling team at Cedarville, Erica was an individual therapist in a day treatment school program with students ages 12-21 suffering from mental illness. She is passionate about trauma-informed care that points individuals to God's provision and grace in a world burdened with sin and suffering.

Interests

I enjoy spending time with my family, playing games, or watching sports. I also adore hanging out my two cats, Bowser and Luma. In my free time, I like to read books, take walks in nature, and listen to music or podcasts.

I've been privileged to experience the joy and freedom that takes place when we heal through God's truths. I am passionate about helping individuals work through their struggles of mental health while encouraging a deeper relationship with their Creator. Cedarville is the perfect place for me to be a counselor and talk freely about the impact of self-discovery through spiritual growth.
