Admission Requirements
Begin Your Application »Admission to the Master of Arts in Communication and Organizational Leadership (MACOL) degree requires meeting the University's general admission criteria and application documents, including the following:
- Evidence of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Official transcripts confirming a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited or otherwise approved institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. Conditional acceptance may be offered in certain circumstances where the overall GPA is at least 2.0. Specific conditions will be decided by the MACOL Admissions Committee.
Completion of the GRE may be required for those with a grade point average below 2.75. Some exceptions are made on an individual basis. The GMAT may be an acceptable alternative.
- A statement of intent demonstrating strong written communication skills appropriate for graduate-level academic work.
- Computer proficiency and ability to take courses in an online environment.
- One professional or academic reference (faculty member or supervisor) and one Christian character reference (pastor or mentor). Family members and personal friends are not eligible to serve as references.
Prerequisite Courses
There are no prerequisite courses required to enroll in the MA in Communication and Organizational Leadership.

Applicants who present satisfactory evidence of their ability to perform at the graduate level are admitted to the MACOL program.
