Nicholas Cheon is a cellist who has performed in solo, chamber, and orchestral settings across the U.S. and Canada, including in Alice Tully Hall in New York City and Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan. He has played in the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra, the Amarillo Symphony, and Chamber Music Amarillo in Texas. He is currently a substitute cellist for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. He has received many musical honors, such as featured soloist of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) solo concerto competition concert in spring 2025 and runner-up in the CCM ChamberMusic Competition in spring 2024. Nicholas has taught private cello students of all ages and levels.
