About Individualized Studies

Do you have specialized career goals that don’t fit within an existing Cedarville major? Or are you looking for a broad undergraduate education before continuing on to graduate school?

Cedarville’s individualized studies major allows qualified students to design a course of study around their unique academic and career goals.

Working with a faculty sponsor, you’ll develop an individualized program that draws from multiple areas of study and has a clearly defined focus. Your proposed program must pursue an objective that cannot adequately be achieved through an existing Cedarville major.

Individualized studies leads to a Bachelor of Arts degree and combines the flexibility of an individualized course of study with the guidance and academic standards of a Cedarville education.

How Does Individualized Studies Work?
